Construction Notes
The top is just a Yellow knit fabric, the design is sewn on with embroidery thread. The trim is a Fleece trim I found at Joann's (that top has over 8 yards of trim on it). The pants I made. The belt I found and the buckle is actually a purse strap . The pearls are sewn to the Pants. The arm symbol is made of sculpey. The shoes I painted with acrylic enamel paint.
Thoughts
My friends Laina and Brian are huge huge One Piece fans and they always dress as Nami and Sanji. At Jacon 2005 I got a chance to do a group with them. I love how this costume turned out and I'm really happy with how true it is to the character.
