Construction Notes
I used a Vogue pattern for the base of the dress, it is gradient died to be more purple at the top and more white at the base. The dress also has gold painting and beading along the sides at the top. The design is based on a Manga image but certain aspects of the design are my own. The wings are made from coper tubing and chicken wire, they attach into a wooden base and secure to my back with nylon straps. The feathers where hot glued on and the long feathers were created by gluing feathers end to end to create the illusion.
Thoughts
I made this for a photoshoot I was unable to attend. However, I was still able to wear this to Megacon with my Skuld,
Evali. I'm currently in the process of remaking the wings.
